About Me.
My name is Mrs. Jaime Cavitt. I have been married to my husband, Cain for 16 years, and I am a proud mom of three active kiddos! Leah is in 9th grade at SWJH, Reese is in 5th grade, and Chase is in 2nd grade. Both boys are at Walker. I LOVE spending time with family and friends, and we spend lots of time traveling to see family in TX and LA.
Fun Facts: I grew up in a small town in Mansura, Louisiana. I was involved in 4-H, played basketball, and ran track. Growing up in rural Cajun Country, I learned about taking care of animals on a farm, and I carried my Cajun roots to AR. I love cooking my favorite recipes from south Louisiana! Anyone who knows me can definitely say that I love meeting new people, and I am always up for an adventure. I love exercising, hiking, fishing, shopping, reading, traveling, and cheering my kids on in sports! It is so hard for me to believe it, but I am entering my 20th year of teaching! This will be my 6th year teaching Gifted & Talented, and I’ve worked with all grade levels, PreK – 7th. I graduated from Northwestern State University in 2001. Since graduating with a BA in Education, I’ve also earned degrees in Early Childhood Education, English as a Second Language, and Gifted and Talented Education. EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
